This Wednesday, a father in Minneapolis surrendered to authorities for chaining up his disabled twin daughters, raping them and even fathering two children with one of the girls. The abuse continued for years until one of the girls managed to escape and reported to the authorities.
Jerry Lee Curry, 51, was charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct, abuse of a vulnerable adult, stalking and other crimes. He intentionally caused injuries named “clinically diagnostic of torture” to his daughters who were in their 20s. The twins behave like 6 to 7-year-old children.
One of the sisters told the police that Curry didn’t feed them well and forced her sister and her to have sex every day since they were a teen. She also told about the regular threats of being killed and dumped in the trash. When released she was very happy not to be chained to the bed every day. The other sister told the authorities that Curry repeatedly chained her ankle to the bedroom door so that she would not see any other man. He would severely beat her and leave without food. She had a “largely detached” left ear and scars on her forehead, scalp, and back and several wounds received from violence.
According to the criminal report, Curry was motivated by one the girls growing up and becoming sexually active. He also thought that the girls were eating too much food. Police are currently trying to locate the mother of the victims to see if she is aware of the violence.
Curry is in jail on $750,000 bail waiting for his first court appearance.
