A 17-year-old teen from Lorton, Virginia was charged with two counts of murder this Saturday after he allegedly murdered his girlfriend's’ parents.
Scott Fricker, 48, and his wife Buckley Kuhn-Fricker were killed in their residence in Reston, Virginia. The teen, whose name remains unknown because of his minor status, shot the couple after entering their house. Fairfax County police report that the teen himself also suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound and is in heavy critical condition.
The Fricker family didn’t approve of their daughter dating the teen. Eventually, they pushed the young couple to break up. According to the girl’s grandmother, the boy seemed very dangerous and a white supremacist.
Kuhn-Fricker alerted the school principal about the teen’s social media posts on hatred and considered him an “outspoken Neo-Nazi”. She also reported his posts that praised Hitler, his support to Nazi book burnings and calls for a “white revolution” on social media. According to an email written by Kuhn-Fricker and obtained by Washington Post, he was a monster and Kuhn-Fricker had no pity towards people who spread hatred.
After the intervention, the parents believed that their daughter finally broke up with him and it was in her best interest. Unfortunately, on Friday morning around 5 AM, parents heard noise in their house and found the teenage boy in their daughter’s bedroom. The teen shot and killed the parents before causing a wound on himself. The other four family members were not injured.
The teen is currently held by the police. He is awaiting his warrants which depends on his medical condition.
