San Francisco iPhone X Heist - More that 300 Phones Stolen

Today (November 3, 2017), at around 11:15 am, three hudied men broke into a UPS truck parked right outside Apple store in San Francisco and stole over 300 iPhone X phones, worth more than $313,000. The truck was parked outside the Stonestown Galleria mall and the UPS driver assured he had locked the vehicle.

He said he went to a nearby Macy's store to make another delivery, during that time the thieves managed to break in and steal 313 iphone devices. Each of those worth over $1000.

San Francisco Police Department Captain Rick Yick said: "Given the dollar value in the incident itself it appears it was planned".

Apple and UPS are working with the local law enforcement on the investigation of the robbery. Captain Rick Yick also said "If you’re going to purchase stuff go to an actual store to purchase it"
