Everyone is lucky in their own way. The heroes of these mugshots got lucky because of their mind-blowing mugshots, and their good looks, of course. While some of you may think “Who needs to commit a crime when you have these looks, just do modeling!” they did commit different crimes and that is why we can now enjoy these jail masterpieces.
All have incredible social media following. Some of them even excelled in catching the business opportunity, like Jeremy Meeks and his path to fame. But enough words, let’s have a look!
1. Jeremy Meeks - from prison to catwalk
Jeremy Meeks was crowned “Hot Mugshot Guy” after his photo was posted on the Stockton County Police Department's Facebook page back in 2014. He was charged with a felony of gun possession. His innocent blue eyes and juicy lips gained so much popularity that White Cross Model Management agency signed a contract with him while he was still in prison! Of course, no need to mention how many likes, shares, and comments he received from a place where no WiFi signals can reach.
2. Meagan McCullough - a mom of 4 and a queen to all
Meagan McCullough was taken to jail for drunk driving in Tampa, Florida in July of 2010. Her mugshot took the breath away from thousands of men (and women too!). Soon, an army of memes appeared on the Internet, all being titled with comments like “Guilty… of taking my heart away” or “Tell me what she did so I can end up in the same jail”. Meagan went through a divorce and took back her maiden name - Simmons. She is currently raising her 4 children.
3. Alysa Suguro Bathrick - the cutie next door
Alysa Bathrick, also known as “The Cute Mugshot Girl”, tweeted about her first arrest on drug charges. Her tweet also contained the mugshot (taken in 2014) which was retweeted more than 1,000 times. She looked so attractive in the photo that many Twitter users simply couldn’t resist but pass it on. The mugshot fame didn’t make her stop her crime endeavors. Later in 2015, she was arrested again, this time for shoplifting. Her mugshot was just as cute as the first one.
4. Sean Kory - the angry hottie
29-year-old Sean Kory took the hearts of women to places where no one has ever returned from, the depth of love, lust, and Internet sensations. He was accused of beating a man for dressing up as a Fox News anchor at a Halloween parade in California.
5. Sarah Furah - the drug dealer in the house
19-year-old Sarah Furay was arrested on suspicion of possession and delivery of cocaine, ecstasy, and meth, which is quite a cocktail for a late teenager. Nevertheless, her criminal business and that smile in her mugshot earned her the nickname “The Adorable Drug Kingpin”.
It was later revealed that Sarah is the daughter of Bill Furay, supervisory agent for the U.S Drug Enforcement Agency. Her father had spent a career arresting major drug dealers in the area, yet he had missed the one in the house. Thanks to her family ties, Sarah spent only one night in jail, which caused outrage among her supporters. Looks like a good smile can take you through anything, after all!
For everyone out there planning to come up with a mischief plan or a robbery, don’t forget to check yourself in the mirror before leaving for the bank. If you don’t qualify for a hot mugshot, you might actually have to carry out your sentence, if you’re caught. So, think twice before making any rash decision and stay out of trouble!
