These people are serial killers who were notorious for multiple, gruesome crimes they’d committed in their lifetimes. Some of them had psychological disorders, others had addictions, traumas, and a variety of other crime triggers. Most of their crimes included torturing and killing people, sometimes having sexual intercourse with the victim. They had their nicknames and the corresponding reputation. 6. Gary Ridgeway
Gary Ridgeway, also known as “The Green River Killer”, murdered more than 80 people in his life, mostly teenagers. His mugshot was taken in Washington in 1982.
7. Charles Manson
The Manson family carried out 9 murders in Southern California. He is well-known for killing the actress and model Sharon Tate, who was pregnant and expecting a baby to be born in a month. This is Charles’ mugshot, taken in 1969. After doing his time in prison, Charles tattooed the Nazi symbol on his forehead to reject the church and the cross, wanting to spread terror, fear, and death.
8. Ted Bundy
Blundy is believed to be one of the evilest serial killers of the 20th century. With his intelligent and good-looking appearance, he tortured and killed 35-36 women in the time period of four years (1974-1978). He also kidnapped young girls, aged 12-26, hit and raped them in their sleep.
9. Jeffrey Dahmer
Dahmer was also known as “Milwaukee Cannibal”. He was accused of killing, raping and dismembering of seventeen boys and men in the period of 1978-1991. He was also a registered sex offender.
10. John Allen Muhammad
John Allen Muhammad was a convicted serial killer from Louisiana. Together with his partner, Lee Boyd Malvo, Muhammad carried out The Beltway Snipers attacks in 2002, shooting and killing seventeen people with his Bushmaster .223-caliber rifle.
