Having done her shopping for food for her kids at Safeways Monday night, Amanda Edwards was walking back to her car in the parking lot when a man drove up next to her and asked for directions. The man was fondling himself while asking for help.

Gang member who stabbed a male over 100 times arrested

Miguel Angel Lopez-Abrego, a 19-year-old gang member who is suspected of having taken part in the murder of a male earlier this year, was found and arrested in North Carolina on November 11. Lopez-Abrego is currently being charged with a first-degree murder.

Florida woman kills her 72-year-old husband, hides the body behind a brick wall

A body of a 72-year-old man was found in a home closet in Florida. The Florida man, Alfred Wozniak, was shot in the left temple by his 65-year-old wife in Shalimar, in the Florida Panhandle. On Friday, Barbara Wozniak was charged with murder, Okaloosa deputies say.

The Carolina Panthers’ quarterback Cam Newton made a special Instagram post on November 21, ‘celebrating’ the anniversary of his arrest, or more precisely, the success he’s earned since that day.

9 years ago on this day, Newton was arrested for stealing a laptop, while he was a student at the University of Florida. The felony charges of burglary, larceny and obstructing justice were dropped when Newton completed a pretrial diversion program, after which he moved to Binn College in Texas and subsequently to Auburn University.

Sheriff threatens charges for a “F--k Trump’ sticker, woman gets jailed

Texas sheriff threatens to press charges against a woman who had a ‘F--k Trump and f--k you for voting for him’ sticker on her car.  

The woman’s husband, Mike Fonseca informed the news that his wife Karen was arrested on Thursday and was released that night only after Mike posted her bond. The Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office announced that they had received a tip, after which the arrest was made.

Connecticut most prolific serial killer sentenced to life in prison

A 47-year-old drifter, who used to drive a van which was also called a “murder mobile,” was sentenced to life in prison on Friday in Connecticut, according to deputies. In fact, William Devin Howell murdered seven people in 2003. The hearing was held in an emotional way, as the victims’ relatives told about the negative effects the killings had on their lives. During the hearing, the judge handed down several consecutive life sentences to the murderer.

Mother of 3-year-old Sherin who died choking on milk is arrested

Sini Mathews, the Texas adoptive mother of Sherin, 3-year-old girl who had died by being choked on milk by Sini’s husband, was arrested on Thursday.

The couple had adopted Sherin from India but failed to display patience while raising her. Based on the information provided by the adoptive father, Wesley Matthews on October 7, Sherin refused to drink her milk, which is why she was sent outside for discipline. His story goes on telling that when he went out to retrieve her at 3:00 am, the girl was nowhere to be found.

Escaped necrophiliac killer finally arrested in Stockton

Randall Saito, a 59-year-old necrophiliac killer, who had escaped the Hawaii psychiatric hospital three days ago, was finally taken into custody on Wednesday morning, as reported by the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office. 

Saito had escaped the hospital on Sunday, taking a taxi to a chartered plane and flying to Maui, followed by another flight to San Jose. The Hawaii Attorney General’s office had issued a $500,000 arrest warrant, charging Saito with a felony escape.

Teenage boy calls 911, gets killed by police

According to Wisconsin investigators, 14-year-old Jason Ike Pero called 911 and made a report describing himself, after which he was shot by the police, CNN reports. The Native American teen expressed his concerns about a male walking down the Odanah street with a knife. When Ashland County Sheriff’s Deputy Brock Mrdjenovich arrived on the scene, Pero came up to him with a large butcher knife in his hand. The Deputy used his service weapon to shoot him when the boy ignored his commands to drop the knife, as stated by the Wisconsin Department of Justice. The victim was later confirmed dead at one of the medical centers in Ashland.

Tampa Principal and Teacher Accused of Child Abuse

Michael Hoskinson, 53, principal of Coleman Middle School, and his wife, Kimberly, 49, a Plant High School assistant teacher, are both facing charges of child abuse, reported by Tampa Police. 

According to statements, the principal yelled at and punched a child in the rib cage twice during a heated argument, as a result of which the wrist of the victim was injured. Two of the victim’s classmates were present during this incident.
